Middleville, Michigan Needs a New Library
The current Thornapple Kellogg School & Community Library in the high school is overdue for an upgrade. Middleville needs a library that’s open when individuals and families need it and is better funded by the community it serves.

Why We Need a New Library
Sadly, the current public library in Middleville doesn’t have the funding, staff, or open hours to accommodate community-building opportunities. Many Middleville folks end up driving to Caledonia or Hastings for these programs. Wouldn’t it be great if they were available in Middleville?
In many libraries, community-building connections are happening all the time. There are story times, and baby play times, accessible tech tutoring sessions, and community events.
Join us
It’s long overdue! We are exploring options for a new community library. Since its beginning, the public library has been located inside the high school. The school board has graciously made space and provided funding for the public library—and continues to do so—but it is time to provide our area with a stand-alone space with increased business hours, library materials and programming options. Want to help in this endeavor?
We meet on the second Tuesday of each month
